AeroPress coffee makers are portable, convenient, and easy to use. Think of it as an espresso maker, drip coffee maker, and French press, all rolled into one! Skip the bitterness and acidity and brew rich, flavourful coffee wherever you are.

The AeroPress coffee maker is a new kind of coffee press that brews coffee under ideal conditions: proper temperature, total immersion, and rapid filtering. This results in amazingly delicious coffee with a wide range of beautiful flavours but without bitterness and with very low acidity. Since its introduction the AeroPress has become a much beloved brewer for serious coffee lovers and coffee professionals around the world.

The AeroPress coffee maker is most commonly used in the home kitchen or office but it is lightweight, compact, and durable, making it ideal for use when camping, backpacking, boating, or just traveling.

The AeroPress Maker consists of basically:

  • Plunger
  • Chamber
  • Stirrer
  • Scoop

Brewing Method

  • Grind your coffee to medium-fine.
  • 2. Heat your water to boiling, or if you have a temperature-controlled kettle, set it to 185°F (85°C).
  • Pull plunger to separate entirely from chamber
  • Put filter (paper or metal) in filter cap.
  • Twist filter cap onto chamber.
  • Stand chamber on GO travel cup and add 3/4 scoop (11 g) of coffee. Shake gently to level.
  • Add water up to in chamber. Note: A small amount of drip through the filter is normal. If there is excessive drip through, use a finer grind of coffee.
  • Stir for 10 seconds (gently). Insert plunger about ½ inch (about 1 cm) into chamber. Let sit 30 seconds.
  • Apply gentle constant pressure (not too hard). It’s normal to feel some resistance. However, too much resistance means your coffee grind is probably too fine.
  • Remove filter cap, then push the plunger through until you hear the pop and the coffee grounds pop out.
  • Enjoy!

Cleaning: The plunger wipes the chamber clean as you brew (just pop out the filter and grinds) , once finished clean with soap and water or place the components securely in the dishwasher.
